What You’ll Do
As a Credit Analyst, you’ll play a key role in evaluating credit risk and supporting quality lending decisions. You will:
- Analyze and interpret financial statements to support credit decisions
- Prepare detailed credit presentations and assign risk ratings
- Conduct annual credit reviews for loans, including evaluating collateral, ratios, and trends
- Perform collateral inspections for construction and floor plan
- Coordinate real estate appraisals, internal evaluations, and environmental prescreens
- Ensure loan requests comply with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate data entry and financial spreads
You’re analytical, organized, and confident in your ability to assess risk and communicate your findings clearly. You also bring:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Support internal and external customer inquiries
- Assist with monthly reporting
- Provide input and support for system and program enhancements
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–3 years of credit analysis experience within a financial institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial spreading tools
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel locally for inspections
