Virginia Appliance Repair is a growing service company built around efficiency, technician support, and customer satisfaction. We provide in-home service for all major appliance brands and are an authorized servicer for many of them. If you’re self-motivated, skilled at diagnosing issues, and confident managing your schedule and customers, we’d love to connect.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair major household appliances (refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washers, dryers, stoves)
- Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Provide repair estimates and collect payments
- Keep your company van, tools, and inventory in good shape
- Complete paperwork and digital documentation on a tablet
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of hands-on appliance repair experience across major brands and models
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills — you can identify issues quickly and fix them right the first time
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in home appliances
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Professional, friendly, and respectful customer service mindset — you know how to put customers at ease while clearly explaining the issue and solution
- Experience working on a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and more
- Familiarity with multiple major brands, including GE, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Maytag, etc.
- Sealed system experience is a plus (EPA certification preferred)
- Proficiency using tablets/smartphones for job tracking and reporting
- Clear, professional communication with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 100 lbs occasionally without assistance
- Must pass a background and drug screening
