Role Description The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a part or full-time, remote role based in Annapolis, MD, responsible for driving new business opportunities and supporting revenue growth. This position focuses on identifying and qualifying prospective clients through research, outbound outreach (email, phone, social), and follow-up on inbound inquiries. The BDR will schedule and coordinate discovery calls and consultations, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs. Day-to-day tasks include nurturing leads, preparing concise sales materials, and contributing to targeted campaigns that promote Virgent AI’s strategy, automation, and training services. The role requires consistent in-person collaboration with colleagues and clients to build strong relationships and support the company’s presence in the local market.
Qualifications
- Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and nurture prospective clients.
- Solid Sales and Business Development capabilities to support pipeline growth and conversion of opportunities.
