This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Packaging Engineer located in Nashville, TN. The Senior Packaging Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing packaging systems, conducting research and development, and implementing innovative packaging solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing projects related to packaging initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company goals.

• Expertise in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design to create innovative and functional packaging solutions
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to conceptualize, test, and improve packaging systems
• Strong Project Management skills to oversee multiple packaging initiatives effectively
• Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and their application to packaging processes
• Attention to detail with knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment is highly desirable
