Virbac is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team.
In this specific role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing accounting transactions and processes to support daily operations and ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Framework and internal policies.
You will play a critical role in Virbac's financial close process and will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy of overall financial statements.
We are looking for an accountant who is used to process documentation and is an advanced ERP user with very strong reporting skills especially using Excel.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide management with timely and accurate financial information.
Research and analyze assigned cost centers and accounts to facilitate accurate reporting.
Prepare journal entries with supporting documents.
Review check and ACH support on payment runs.
Contribute to monthly, semiannual and year end reporting packages.
Contribute to mid-year and year-end financial statements analytics.
Support and lead accounting projects
Process documentation and Process improvements
Support and strengthen internal controls
Backup of the team
Prepare reconciliations of various Balance Sheet accounts.
Prepare the semi-annual US GAAP financial statements
Prepare intercompany reconciliations.
Assist in R&D and Cap Ex budget process.
Perform Royalty Accounting
Process Concur expense reports and record Concur T&E expenses in general ledger.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
CPA preferred
4-5 years of Accounting experience
Model: Must be able to work at our Head Office in Westlake, Texas (Hybrid)
