Role Description The Sandblasting Operator is a full-time, on-site position located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. In this role, you will prepare and clean metal parts and components using sandblasting equipment to meet specified surface finish and cleanliness requirements before or after heat treating, welding, or brazing operations. Daily tasks include setting up and operating sandblasting machines, selecting appropriate media and pressure settings, masking or protecting critical surfaces, and inspecting parts for proper coverage and quality. You will handle material loading and unloading, maintain a clean and safe work area, and assist with basic equipment maintenance and media changes. The role also involves following detailed work instructions, completing production and quality documentation, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality standards.
