What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge Pediatrician position at VIPediatrics?
Come practice pediatrics the way you always thought it was supposed to be practiced.
VIPediatrics is a family-owned, physician-built concierge pediatric practice with a very big heart.
We are not private equity. We are not a hospital system. We are not a corporate-run medical group with someone in another state deciding how many patients you need to squeeze into an afternoon.
We are a family taking care of families. And the people who join our team truly become part of ours.
We’re looking for an experienced, Board-Certified Pediatrician who wants more than their next job. We’re looking for someone who wants to find their professional home, build meaningful relationships with families, and grow with us for many years to come.
The Best Part? We Built the Schedule We Wished Existed.
Four days a week. Fewer patients. Plenty of coverage. Real time off.
Our physician schedule was built by doctors, for doctors, because we believe being an exceptional pediatrician should not require giving up your own family, your vacations, or your life outside of medicine.
Our physicians work a four-day workweek with rotating coverage, supported by a team large enough to make actual work/life balance possible.
And when you ARE at work, we’ve intentionally chosen fewer patients and more time with each family.
- Time to sit down.
- Time to listen.
- Time to answer the extra question.
- Time to know the child AND the parents.
- Time to actually practice medicine instead of watching the clock and racing to the next exam room.
It’s pediatrics the way it’s supposed to be practiced.
Who Are We Looking For?
Of course, credentials matter. Experience matters. Clinical excellence matters enormously.
But we’re also looking for something you won’t find on a CV.
We’re looking for a warm chocolate chip cookie of a person.
Someone warm, kind, engaging, approachable, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in people.
Someone who loves talking to families and, maybe even more importantly, loves listening to them.
The kind of pediatrician who remembers the sibling’s name. Who asks how the soccer tournament went. Who notices when Mom or Dad still looks worried. Who never makes a parent feel silly for asking one more question.
Because clinical excellence is the expectation.
Human connection is the magic.
The Must-Haves
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- At least 5 years post-residency
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- A warm, engaging, compassionate bedside manner
- A genuine love of children AND their families
- Someone who values listening and relationship-based medicine
- A collaborative team player
- Most importantly, someone looking for long-term career longevity and a place to grow
- Someone who believe strongly in evidence-based medicine and values relationships with families, co-workers, and collaborates incredibly well
Why VIPediatrics?
Because we believe you can be an extraordinary physician and still have an extraordinary life.
- A four-day workweek.
- Rotating coverage.
- Fewer patients.
- More time with families.
- Salary up to 250k with bonuses.
- A team that has your back.
- Time away from the office that actually feels like time away from the office.
- And a family-owned practice where you’re a person, not a provider number on a spreadsheet.
We’ve worked incredibly hard to build a place where physicians can love practicing medicine again — and still have the time and energy to love the rest of their lives, too.
We’re proud of the medicine we practice. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built. And we’re especially proud that as VIPediatrics has grown, it still feels like what it was always meant to be:
A family taking care of families.
If you’ve spent the last several years becoming an exceptional pediatrician and have found yourself wondering whether there’s a way to practice with fewer patients, deeper relationships, more balance, more joy, and more heart...
There is.
Come grow with us. We’d really love to meet you. Please email your CV and cover letter telling us more about you to Admin@BocaVIPediatrics.com. Please no phone calls.
