hours:

1st shift - 6 am-2:30 p.m,

2nd shift - 2:15 pm-10:45 pm,

3rd shift - 10:30p-7a

We are looking for someone available to pick up 3–4 shifts per week.

Position Summary:

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) plays a critical role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. STNAs assist with daily living activities, support resident independence, and work closely with nursing staff to ensure residents’ health, comfort, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding

• Assist residents with mobility, turning, positioning, and transferring

• Accurately measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight)

• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional condition tothe nursing staff

• Support residents in maintaining personal dignity, privacy, and a safe environment

• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes

• Ensure cleanliness and proper use of equipment and resident rooms

• Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with facility policies

• Participate in care planning and team meetings as needed

• Respond to resident calls promptly and courteously

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio STNA certification (or applicable state certification) in good standing

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents and equipment as needed

• Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
