About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with limited bookkeeping experience who is eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. The manager will provide hands-on training to help you build your skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with data entry and organization of financial records
Input transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets for tracking income and expenses
Support the preparation of documents needed for tax filings
Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles is helpful
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Professional attitude and reliable attendance
Schedule & Compensation
Part-Time, Seasonal: Approximately 20–30 hours per week (January – April)
Flexible schedule available during business hours
Hourly pay based on experience
