Shop Worker

Currently seeking Shop Workers for a large woodworking shop in San Antonio on the southside.

Pay is $15/hr.

(Growth and rate increase available)
Shift is Mon-Fri, 7am - 3:30pm (40 hours a week)

Shop worker details:

• Will be assembling and building trusses in shop
• Measure material and cut following blueprints
• Verify the size of each precut part, then move the specific truss pieces into position
• Assemble cut material into trusses to specification
• Assemble pre-cut wood into the triangular structure
• Operate hand/power tools to assemble trusses and wall panels
• Install metal reinforcements and brackets over connections to build truss
• Pull plates, stack finished product, band and mark materials
• Keep work area clean and neat

Requirements:

• Seeking at least 3 months experience in construction, woodworking, or general labor
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be able to work in an open-air shop
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to follow blueprints
• Background friendly
