We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Setter for a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting dies and molds used in production equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with stamping presses, dies, automated feed lines, and/or injection molding equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain dies and molds used in production equipment
- Perform proper setup of die-related functions and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect dies and molds and identify wear, damage, or other deficiencies
- Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues to minimize production downtime
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on press dies, injection molds, and thermal press molds
- Use precision measuring equipment, including dial micrometers and calipers
- Maintain tooling and die storage areas in a clean and organized condition
- Complete required production, maintenance, and quality documentation
- Follow all established safety, lockout, and equipment shutdown procedures
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other material-handling or shop equipment as needed
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maintain product quality and equipment efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Tool & Die Setter experience required
- Minimum 1 year of stamping press experience required
- Experience with automated feed lines preferred
- Injection molding/mold maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
- Ability to independently operate and make adjustments to production equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team
