We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and results-driven Business Developer to help expand our presence in the Minnesota market. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and helping companies solve their workforce needs through customized staffing solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong sales skills, understands how to develop long-term business relationships, and is comfortable working with companies in industries such as manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, and related sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow business in Minnesota
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities
- Build relationships with business owners, HR managers, operations managers, and decision-makers
- Present staffing and workforce solutions to potential clients
- Understand client pain points and propose services that meet their hiring needs
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, email outreach, referrals, and in-person visits
- Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while opening new ones
- Collaborate with recruiters and internal teams to ensure successful service delivery
- Track sales activity, pipeline, follow-ups, and client communication
- Meet or exceed sales and growth targets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in business development, outside sales, or staffing sales required
- Experience in the staffing industry highly preferred
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and client relationship management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with prospecting, cold outreach, and field sales
- Ability to work independently and drive results
- Knowledge of the Minnesota market is a plus
- Experience working with manufacturing or industrial clients is preferred
