Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Day Care Program Director to lead and oversee our adult day care services. As the Program Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, fostering a supportive environment, and managing all operational aspects of the program. Duties
- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive adult day care programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of participants, including those with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges.
- Supervise staff members, providing leadership, training, and ongoing support to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Manage program operations, including scheduling, participant intake, and coordination of activities that promote socialization, skill development, and well-being.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative functions to ensure efficient program management while maintaining compliance with funding requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with participants’ families, healthcare providers, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance service quality and community integration.
- Monitor behavioral health aspects within the program to address participants' emotional and psychological needs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies to maintain a secure environment for staff and participants.
- Lead efforts in continuous quality improvement by analyzing program outcomes and implementing necessary enhancements to maximize participant engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in program development or administration within social services or healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health conditions.
- Strong relationship management skills to foster collaboration among staff, families, community agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Administrative experience including budgeting, record-keeping, and compliance documentation.
- Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavioral health principles and practices relevant to adult populations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
