One of Birmingham's Leading Specialized Medical Clinics is willing to pay what it takes, plus benefits, for a Medical Assistant-Patient Care Coordinator. Bubbly, outgoing professional with excellent communication, patient relations, and computer skills. This is a very busy medical clinic with a high volume of patient appointments each day. This position will assist one physician with his patients to provide seamless and effective patient care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination efficiently
- Facilitate clear communication with patients regarding their care
- Provide clinical support to physicians and healthcare staff
- Assist with patient check-out procedures
- Coordinate specialized patient care activities
- Send off labs and other orders and keep track of progress
Certified Medical Assistant is preferred. HSG. 3= yeas of medical office experience. Happy personality who can be flexible and easy to work with! Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus!
Normal Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 - 5. Criminal/Drug Screening!
