The receptionist at VIP Medical Group plays a pivotal role in supporting our Pain and Vein practice at our Stamford, CT location. training for this role will be provided in NY.

We are in search of an energetic individual who is enthusiastic about learning and making valuable contributions to our clinical team.

What you'll do

• Greet registered patients upon their visit, triage patients through the patient flow process, and ensure a smooth experience.
• Fulfill clerical responsibilities, such as sending/receiving/scanning medical records, obtaining diagnostic reports and managing the charting process.
• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of clinical equipment, promptly escalating issues to the supervisor.
• Answer phones, emails, respond to inquiries, and triage calls to appropriate personnel.
• Collect co-payments, update EMR system, insurance verification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• EMR systems (1 year preferred)
• Spanish proficiency preferred. (preferred)
