Description: Full-Time Safety Specialist
Reporting to the Safety Director, the responsibilities shall include the review of tractors' video to evaluate driving behavior and recommended coaching. In addition, the job duties will include following through with Operations team members, managers and coaches on the timeliness and effectiveness of coaching intervention, production of trend reports, preparing challenges to State Agencies on crash rulings, and general administrative duties including assisting with incoming calls to the Recruiting and Safety Department.
This role is critical in maintaining the safety and hiring standards of VIP Logistics, LLC, ensuring that our drivers and equipment operate within the highest safety standards and regulations.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in task organization and prioritization.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in building Excel reports using pivot tables and charts for data analysis.
• Clear Motor Vehicle Record and knowledge of safe driving skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Commercial Driver's License or experience with the operation of CMVs.
