Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various imaging modalities and demonstrate expertise in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role is essential in delivering accurate diagnostic evaluations to assist in patient care, particularly in urgent care and emergency medicine settings. This is a Full Time / Per Diem position.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, PET scans, and DEXA scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and medical terminology related to procedures performed.
- Provide support in urgent care and emergency room settings, demonstrating proficiency in handling Level I and Level II trauma center cases.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including sonography and mammography.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards within the radiology department.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
- Experience in nuclear medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care is preferred.
- Familiarity with various imaging modalities including CT, PET scan, DEXA scan, sonography, and mammography is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.

- Must have Active State of Florida License, Active AART Certification, and an active BLS Certification.
- Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screen and drug test
- Must be successfully credentialed within each facility you will be performing shifts
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to perform the duties expected for an active role in a busy medical environment (standing, walking, teaching, public speaking, pulling, pushing, lifting, etc.)
- Able to stand and work up to a 12-hour shift in the facility
- Must have the ability to travel between local facilities (50 mile radius) in order to cover shifts.
- Legibly write English, clearly speak English, and proficiently read English
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
