Finance Manager

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 base salary (Competitive based on experience, multi-entity expertise, and manufacturing finance background)

VIP Executive Search is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to hire a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across four U.S. business divisions. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader with strong US GAAP expertise, multi-entity experience, and a background in manufacturing finance.

Preference will be given to candidates who can speak Hindi, as this supports collaboration with global teams.

The Finance Manager will lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely deliverables across multiple divisions. This position oversees AR/AP, month-end close, MIS reporting, budgeting/forecasting, product costing, inventory accounting, fixed assets, payroll accounting, 401(k) reconciliation, taxation, and audit support. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing finance experience and the ability to streamline processes in a growing organization.

• Manage invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor aging, credit limits, and DSO; drive effective collection strategies.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition under US GAAP.

• Oversee invoice processing, 3-way match, vendor payments, and AP controls.
• Review AP aging and optimize payment cycles.
• Partner with procurement and operations on vendor-related issues.

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for four divisions.
• Prepare/review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and provisions.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and support multi-entity consolidation.

• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Deliver division-level and consolidated reporting packages.
• Enhance reporting through automation and ERP-driven analytics.

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Analyze performance vs. budget and recommend corrective actions.
• Support cost-optimization and strategic planning initiatives.

• Perform standard costing, overhead analysis, and BOM reviews.
• Lead margin analysis, cost-per-unit studies, and cost driver evaluations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate product costing.

• Oversee accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Monitor inventory valuation, adjustments, and write-offs.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

• Manage capitalization, FA register maintenance, and depreciation.
• Track additions, disposals, transfers, and asset verification.

• Ensure timely, accurate federal, state, and local tax filings.
• Coordinate corporate tax, sales/use tax, and payroll tax requirements.
• Support external CPA firms during tax audits.

• Oversee payroll entries, benefits accounting, and withholding accuracy.
• Reconcile 401(k) contributions across payroll, GL, and plan statements.

• Support internal and external audits, preparing schedules and documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Assist with multi-entity consolidation for audit and reporting cycles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5 years of accounting/finance experience in manufacturing, ideally in a multi-division or multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial controls, and audit standards.
• ERP proficiency; SAP experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Bilingual English / Hindi language proficiency preferred.
