We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic on 3rd Shift in Ayer, MA. This position will be Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am. The position will consist of overseeing the repairing and performing preventive maintenance on all production machinery on the 3rd shift. It will also include but not limited to:
- Assist in managing the equipment component inventory with the Maintenance Manager
- Work through the e-maintenance system, efficiently tackling maintenance requests as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of machinery and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Communicate with other members of maintenance on varying shifts about updates and needed repairs
Requirements:
- Previous Maintenance Mechanic experience or related field/experience
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, especially with Allen Bradley systems
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for 8 hours and bend, lift, and move consistently
- Welding prowess (Stick, Mig, and Tig) is a big plus.
