Automotive Receptionist Responsibilities
- Greet all showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit
- Obtain and record basic customer information using dealership systems
- Direct customers to the appropriate department or sales consultant
- Provide brochures, product information, and dealership materials
- Answer incoming calls and serve as the dealership telephone operator
- Respond to basic customer inquiries and route complex questions to the proper staff member
- Notify sales staff when customers arrive for appointments
- Provide clerical and administrative support to dealership departments
- Maintain a professional front desk appearance and organized workspace
- Assist with stocking vehicles into CDK dealership software
- Create vehicle key tags and manage key tracking
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
✅ Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
- Automotive dealership experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Weekend availability required
Schedule
- Full-Time Position
- 5-Day Work Week
- Rotating schedule including evenings and weekends
- Shift examples:
- 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Alternating weekends required
Compensation
- $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
