🚗 Position OverviewThe Parts Advisor / Parts Counterperson assists internal service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale clients by identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive parts and accessories while supporting the daily operations of the dealership parts department.
🔧 Key Responsibilities- Assist customers and technicians with automotive parts selection and sales
- Identify and specify correct OEM and aftermarket parts
- Maintain strong customer service at the parts counter and over the phone
- Process parts orders, invoices, and sales transactions
- Manage cores, warranty claims, and returned merchandise
- Track special orders and backordered parts
- Follow up with customers when parts arrive for pickup
- Cross-sell additional parts and accessories
- Maintain a clean, organized parts department
- Assist with inventory management and stocking
- Attend manufacturer training and product knowledge sessions
- Prior dealership or automotive parts experience required
- Knowledge of automotive parts catalogs and inventory systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Saturday and Sunday availability required
- $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
