Vios Compounding Pharmacy is looking for experienced and eager CPhT's to join our staff in Livonia, MI. Our hours of operation are 7:00 am - 8:00 pm (Monday - Friday) and 10am- 2pm on Saturday's. - The Filling Pharmacy Technician is responsible for packaging and labeling compounded prescriptions in the lab into vials, bottles, jars, etc
- Lead filling of all prescription medications according to company and governing regulatory policies and procedures, which may change from time-to-time
- Demonstrate proficiency with following directions
- Proactively anticipate, identify and propose solutions to the on-duty pharmacist or pharmacy manager of any problems with medication fills
- Have all work checked by pharmacist - technician shall not make any decisions regarding medications that may affect patient care
- Demonstrate a team mentality
- Self-driven, self-confident, and flexible
- Adapt to changing priorities throughout the day and week
- Ability to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlines
- Cross-train and cover all pharmacy technician areas assigned
- Complete all documentation and computer input as necessary
- Assist in inventory control functions
- Assist in maintenance of the pharmacy to reflect a clean and well stocked condition on a daily basis
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
- Contribute to the productivity of the team; resolve conflict in a positive manner
- Not Required for Filling Tech, but let us know if you: Demonstrates ability to perform non-sterile/sterile compounding
- Perform other duties as assigned

How you will make an impact:
- Maintain compliance with regulations from applicable State Board of Pharmacy, local, state, and federal requirements as it pertains to prescriptions.
- Communicate with staff required to complete prescription. Assists the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing of medications and supplies.
- Verifies data entry information.
- Checks medications and administration supply inventory for out of date products, removes products from inventory and works with the appropriate resource to record out of date products.
- Maintains a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Pharmacy Technician License
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
