What are the responsibilities and job description for the California Licensed Pharmacist position at Vios Compounding?
Vios Compounding Pharmacy is looking for a California Licensed Pharmacist for a Non-Resident Pharmacy:
- Employment Type: Part-time, W-2 employee
- Work Structure: Remote with required monthly on-site presence in Michigan
- Schedule: Approximately 8-10 hours per week (subject to operational needs)
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as California PIC and oversee all CA-related compliance on behalf of the Michigan Non-Resident Pharmacy
- Execute the California Compliance Oversight and Monitoring Program created by Michigan Pharmacy in compliance with California Board of Pharmacy Non-Resident Pharmacy requirements.
- Review and ensure timely reporting of complaints, medication errors, and adverse events
- Oversee labeling, recordkeeping, and patient access compliance
- Perform remote prescription verification
- On-Site Requirement: Minimum 1 visit per month to Michigan facility or as needed as determined by Compliance and Quality Team
Licensure Requirements:
- Maintain active California pharmacist license
- Reciprocate pharmacist licensure to Michigan upon job acceptance
- Compensation: $60-$75 per hour
