Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream desserts and espresso drinks with attention to presentation and quality.
- Operate Clover POS system efficiently for order processing and accurately collect payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Manage food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Skills
- Experience as a barista or in coffee service is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS Clover system for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Food safety knowledge including proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is advantageous.
