What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist position at Vinyl Kraft Acquisition?
· Core Requirements: Ability to troubleshoot and support Windows 10/11 environments, including software installation, OS configuration, File Shares, and general performance issues.
· Hardware Maintenance: Hands-on experience or comfort with PC hardware, including swapping internal components and performing routine physical maintenance (for example: cleaning/dusting internal components in a dusty industrial environment).
· Industrial Equipment Support: Willingness to learn and support PC-based controllers for manufacturing machinery such as vinyl welders, cleaners, and linear positioners.
· Preferred Skills (The "Pluses"):
o Programming/Data: Basic exposure to or interest in VBA or SQL.
o Specialized Software: Prior experience with FeneVision or similar Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
o Cabling: Basic knowledge of running or crimping Ethernet and Serial cables.
· Soft Skills: A strong desire to learn complex proprietary systems and the ability to communicate effectively with production staff to resolve technical hurdles.
Requirements:Physical Requirements & Safety:
o Comfortable working on a manufacturing floor around active machinery while utilizing PPE.
o Willingness to work at heights (periodically using a scissor lift for overhead cable management or equipment access).
o Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs).
· Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
