Overview
Vinton Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Financial Administrator to join our ministry team. This role is 25 hours/week and provides both financial and administrative support to the church.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and other financial transaction
- Maintaining accurate records in the general ledger
- Assisting with budget preparation and reporting
- Preparing monthly financial reviews for committees
- Managing invoices, fund reports, and related documentation
- Providing general office support, including answering phone and greeting visitors
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks and Excel preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Professional, welcoming demeanor with the ability to greet and assist visitors in a warm and courteous manner
- Experience in a church setting is preferred, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
