What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Vintage Wine Company?
Vintage Wine Company is a family owned and operated wine distributor serving Michigan since 1978. We specialize in representing a diverse portfolio of wines from around the world while building strong relationships with our suppliers, customers, and employees.
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, organized and highly competent individual to be a part of our growing warehouse team. This position will primarily be in the warehouse but includes responsibilities as a back up Delivery Driver.
Duties:
- Loading and Unloading Shipments while utilizing a Hi-Lo.
- Pulling and Preparing Orders.
- Maintaining and Organizing Stock.
- Inventory Cycle Counting.
- Driving a 28 Foot Box Truck and Delivering to Customers.
Requirements:
- Previous Warehouse, Distribution or Inventory Experience Preferred.
- Ability to Lift, Move, and Organize Cases and Products.
- Ability to Operate Warehouse Equipment including Pallet Jacks and Hi-Lo.
- Valid Chaueffer License - Must be 25 years old for insurance requirements.
- Good Communication and Customer Service Skills.
- Dependable Attendance and Strong Work Ethic Required.
Pre-Hiring requirements
Mandatory drug test, DOT physical and a comprehensive background check. Must have reliable transportation, and a driver's license. We require a high school diploma or GED.
