Delivery Driver – Merchandiser
Vintage Wine Company is looking for motivated individuals who live within the Grayling/Frederic area to deliver and merchandise our products throughout Petoskey and the surrounding areas.
Education/Licenses/Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Chauffeur license required
· Delivery Experience Mandatory
· Customer service is helpful but not necessary
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day
· Climb in and out of 26’ box truck
· Bend, stoop and climb as necessary to unload delivery vehicle
Primary Delivery Duties:
· Obey traffic laws
· Follow customer delivery requirements
· Provide excellent customer service
· Verify product for each customer prior to entering establishment
· Use of a handcart
Primary Merchandising Responsibilities:
· Ensure store shelves and displays are fully stocked and visually appealing
· Building displays and rotating stock.
· Verifying that fresh products are always available for purchase
Communication:
· Interact with office staff throughout the day
· Discuss order details with store management and receivers
Use of technology:
· iPad – Brother Printer (generate invoice for customer)
· GPS
· IOS device to use with beverage software system
Pre-Hiring Requirements:
25 year/older at the time of hire
· Comprehensive DOT physical
· Drug test
· Background check
