What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH Staff - Vintage Wine Bar position at Vintage Wine Bar?
Reporting Relationships:
- The Server reports directly to the management team of Vintage Wine Bar and works congruently with all departments of Vintage Wine Bar.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets guests promptly and courteously, reviews specials, and menu options.
- Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
- Maintains service station, before, during, and after shift to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness.
- Confirms orders for accuracy prior to delivery, then runs them from kitchen to guest, as part of team service. Before departing the table, ensure that guests have their complete order, prepared to their satisfaction and all their required items are delivered.
- Ensures Guest satisfaction throughout the meal service, including drink refills, pre-bussing and removal of empty plates.
- Delivers check promptly, completes transactions and thanks guests for coming to the restaurant.
- Proactively communicates as needed with various departments to ensure an elevated guest experience.
- Following all health standards and guidelines established.
- Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands after using the restroom, etc.)
- Review work procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve service, performance and/or safety.
- Be observant to any and all safety concerns surrounding your work area.
- Ability to answer the phones in a professional manner as trained.
- Cleaning of all spills that may occur during your shift.
- Superior attendance and punctuality.
- Provide information to supervisors/managers
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Secondary education - Preferred
- 2 years experience in the Hospitality Industry - Preferred
Licensing & Certifications:
- THD Food Handlers
- OK ABLE Liquor License
- ACE Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and preparing food.
- Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
