Kitchen Production Assistant

(Part-Time)

Location: Bowie, Maryland

Schedule: Flexible – Greatest needs on Tuesday & Wednesday & occasional weekends.  Hours flexible based on experience but largely between 9am-5pm.

Pay: $18-$19/hour plus gratuities (avg $5/hr)

Reports to: Kitchen Manager

Vintage Views is seeking a reliable, physically capable, and detail-oriented team member to support our kitchen and event operations. This role is focused primarily on kitchen prep to support our cocktail & catering operations including but not limited to  juicing citrus, ingredient prep & knife work, batching bulk cocktails, and assisting with the maintenance of our space.  The ability to read & understand basic recipes & measurements is essential as well as the ability to maintain a clean & organized workspace.

We are a seasonal business, which means most of the year offers steady, consistent hours, with some slower weeks depending on event volume. This is a great role for someone who enjoys physical work, staying busy, and leaving a space better than they found it.

• Clean, organize, and reset the kitchen daily
• Unpack supplies and equipment returning from events
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain kitchen tools, kegs, and equipment
• Juice citrus, clean kegs, and prepare bar-related items
• Wipe down refrigerators, shelving, and work surfaces consistently
• Put away supplies in their proper locations and maintain organization systems
• Pack, label, and stage items for upcoming events
• Assist with loading and unloading event supplies when needed
• Prepare food and supplies according to daily prep lists
  

• Must be able to stand and work on your feet for the full shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable with physical, fast-paced, hands-on work

• Comfortable with physical labor and cleaning tasks
• Able to work independently and follow systems
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Kitchen, warehouse, or production experience preferred (but not required)
