Role Description The Sales Associate role is a part-time, on-site position based in Boston, MA. In this role, the Sales Associate will greet and assist customers, provide personalized styling and product recommendations, and ensure a welcoming store atmosphere. Daily responsibilities include maintaining visual merchandising standards, organizing inventory, processing sales and returns using the point-of-sale system, and handling customer inquiries in person and by phone. The Sales Associate will also help with the intaking of luxury designer items, assist with bookkeeping, and collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and client-facing skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide personalized assistance.
- Sales and retail experience, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- Interest in and knowledge of luxury fashion, designer brands, and vintage clothing and accessories.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as stocking and arranging merchandise.
- Prior experience in boutique or luxury retail is preferred but not required.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
