GRAPHICS & MARINE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Vintage Sign & Light is seeking an experienced Graphics & Marine Operations Specialist to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a self-motivated and disciplined professional who can independently manage projects from survey through installation while delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is responsible for surveying, designing, producing, and installing vinyl graphics and signage projects while serving as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation & Field Work

Survey project sites and gather accurate field measurements.
Install vinyl graphics of all sizes, including:
Boat graphics and lettering
Storefront graphics
Window graphics
Wall murals
Fleet graphics
Banners and specialty graphics
Ensure installations are completed professionally and efficiently.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and installation equipment.

Design & Production

Create and prepare artwork for production.
Design customer graphics and signage layouts.
Operate wide-format printers, plotters, and laminators.
Print, laminate, weed, mask, and prepare graphics for installation.
Verify artwork and production files for accuracy.

Project Management & Customer Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
Communicate professionally throughout the life of each project.
Coordinate schedules, surveys, production, and installations.
Provide project updates and manage customer expectations.
Ensure projects move smoothly from order through completion.

Process & Accountability

Follow company systems, procedures, and project workflows.
Maintain accurate project notes and documentation.
Meet deadlines and commitments.
Work independently while remaining accountable to the team.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years professional vinyl graphics installation experience.
Proven experience with boat graphics and marine applications preferred.
Experience surveying projects and taking field measurements.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator required.
Experience operating printers, plotters, laminators, and related equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
