This full-time, on-site Interior Designer role is based in Barrington, IL. The Interior Designer will be responsible for managing all aspects of the design process, including creating and developing interior design concepts, conducting space planning, producing construction and design drawings, selecting finishes, furniture, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating closely with architects and contractors. The successful candidate will ensure that designs align with client visions and project goals, while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship and luxury associated with Vintage Luxury Homes.
- Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design to design functional, stylish, and client-focused interiors.
- Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings to interpret and create layouts and blueprints accurately.
- Understanding of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for tailored selections that align with design goals.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- A degree in Interior Design or a related field, along with relevant certifications, is highly desirable.
