Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time)

Join Our Team as a Veterinary Receptionist!

Do you love animals and enjoy helping people? Are you organized, compassionate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a friendly and dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our clients and their pets.

In this role, you'll help create a welcoming experience for pet owners while supporting our veterinary team with scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks. If you're passionate about animal care and customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting pay: $15.50 per hour
• Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and their pets with professionalism and compassion
• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages
• Schedule and manage appointments using clinic software
• Check patients in and out for appointments
• Take notes and assist veterinarians with administrative support
• Process invoices and collect payments
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Keep the reception area organized and inviting
• Deliver exceptional customer service during both routine and stressful situations
• Support a positive experience for pets, owners, and team members

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with animals preferred
• Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• Veterinary or healthcare office experience is a plus
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emotional or high-pressure situations
