Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, setting a lively tone for their visit
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and friendly service, providing accurate information
- Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverages, and promote specials when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Operate Toast POS for to-go order processing
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences and uphold high standards of hospitality
Requirements
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including reservation management and POS systems like Toast POS
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of guest services, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
- Reliable attendance, professional appearance, and a friendly, approachable personality
