- Previous dementia training and experience required.
- Experience in a geriatric activity setting or nursing home preferred.
- Certification as an Activities Professional (per state and federal regulations) preferred.
- Strong desire to work with older adults and contribute as a collaborative team member.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of activity programs tailored to residents' interests.
- Lead or support group and one-on-one activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
- Accurately document residents' participation and progress toward individualized goals.
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff regarding scheduled activities and special events.
