Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and wine-loving individual to join our team as
a part-time Junior social media Assistant. This part-time position involves
managing and creating engaging content for various social media platforms,
including Email Marketing, Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, Twitter,
and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of artistic creativity
and a strong understanding of business principles and strategies. This is a
virtual position that allows flexibility in working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule compelling social
media posts for our company's social media accounts
- Engage with our online community and
respond to comments and messages
- Develop and execute email marketing
strategies to promote our wine tours
- Work closely with the CEO to develop a
content strategy and ensure consistent brand messaging
- Conduct research and analysis on social
media trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with influencers to expand our
online reach
- Track and analyze social media metrics,
providing regular reports to assess campaign performance
- Participate in strategy planning sessions
to enhance our social media presence
- Stay updated on industry trends and
emerging social media platforms
Requirements
- Passion for wine and familiarity with
Virginia wineries
- Embrace a growth mindset and
demonstrate a strong willingness to master new technologies, including
ChatGPT, AI tools, Zoho Social and other tools to enhance marketing strategies and drive more impactful campaigns.
- Knowledgeable in creating engaging social
media posts for various platforms
- Creative and artistic mindset with a solid
understanding of business principles
- Experience in email marketing strategy,
planning, and execution
- Availability for part-time work,
approximately 5 hours per week with the ability to take on more hours as the company grows.
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Proficient in using social media
scheduling software like Zoho Social or similar tools
- Ability to work independently in a virtual
setting
- Willingness to undergo training on
specific software and tools
Qualification:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or
a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications or course work in social media marketing,
digital marketing, or related areas are a plus
- Demonstrated experience and a portfolio of successful social media
campaigns
- Photography skills a plus
