We’re looking for a part-time Wine Associate to join our team and support our Wine Specialist in creating memorable experiences for our customers.
Position Overview
The Wine Associate will assist guests with their wine selections, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall operations of the market. This role is ideal for someone who loves wine, enjoys learning, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with wine purchases and pairings under the guidance of our Wine Specialist
- Share knowledge and recommendations about beer, cheese, and gourmet foods
- Stock, organize, and merchandise wine and specialty products
- Support tastings and events when scheduled
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed (cases of wine, stock, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized retail space
- Work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible schedule
Qualifications
- Passion for and knowledge of wine (retail, hospitality, or restaurant experience a plus)
- Interest in beer, cheese, and specialty foods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time Team player with a positive attitude
