Our Team
VINO 61 is an upscale casual Wine & Cocktail Bar located in historic Downtown Mount Holly.
Our service hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4pm-10pm and Sunday Brunch 10am-4pm.
**Pay negotiable based on experience**
Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready and properly handled according to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste effectively
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly for new guests
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen and storage areas
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction
- Operate POS system for order processing
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable attendance with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
