Bakery Assistant

Help Wanted: General Assistant Join our busy bagel shop in Honesdale Pennsylvania! We’re looking for a dependable full-time General Assistant to help keep the shop running smoothly during our morning shift. Position: General Assistant Location: Honesdale PA Pay: $15.00/hour Schedule: Full time — Tuesday through Saturday, 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM What you’ll do: - Greet customers, take orders, and operate the register - Prepare and assemble bagels, sandwiches, and to-go orders - Assist Vinny in the bagel-making process (mixing, shaping, boiling, and simple baking tasks) - Make cream cheese spreads and prepare other toppings/condiments - Assist with basic baking and food prep as needed (training provided) - Keep the counter, dining area, and prep areas clean and stocked - Handle transactions, bag orders, and package items for customers - Receive deliveries, help with stock rotation, and maintain inventory basics - Follow food safety and sanitation procedures - Assist team members wherever needed during busy periods No experience necessary — we’ll train you. Foodservice or bakery experience is a plus.
