What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early AM Prep Cook position at Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian?
Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian in North Asheville is looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our Early AM Prep Team.
Our Morning Prep Cooks are the backbone of our operation. We are looking for a seasoned and self-motivated individual, capable of strictly adhering to recipes and pars. Vinnie's is a scratch kitchen and consistency is the key to our success.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience cooking or prep in a restaurant, hotel, or resort
- Knife skills
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures, be able to read a recipe
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry
