We’re on the lookout for highly motivated college students, in good academic standing, who are passionate about our brand and working toward a career in the retail industry. Interns will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks throughout the office.

Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile sales tax collected versus tax liabilities from our separate billing systems (BlueCherry, Merchandise Management System (MMS),etc.)
- Facilitate reviewing and validating customer sales tax exemption certificates
- Support in managing the personal property tax calendar to track filing deadlines and payments
- Participate in researching sales and use tax regulations related to company purchases in the US.
- Account reconciliations (Bank Statements, Balance Sheet accounts, etc.)
- Assist in month-end accounting close process
- Take on ad-hoc projects as needed
- Finance or Accounting majors preferred
- Competent in Excel and PowerPoint (Pivot Tables and Xlookups/Vlookups, etc.)
- An interest in retail
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- A passion for the Vineyard Vines brand and lifestyle
- Great communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Flexibility and open-mindedness
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback

- This internship is for credit only and you must be able to provide the appropriate paperwork from your school in order to be considered
- Able to come into the office on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday (2x a week)
- We work with your class and extracurricular schedule to determine your internship schedule. Please note: we recommend working two full 8 hour days and one 4 hour half day.
- Spring internships can be up to 15 weeks long with a max of 20 hours per week
- Spring internships slated to start mid to late-January
