Overview:
The HR Coordinator plays an integral role in the success of the Human Resources team, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition, employee wellness, and Benefits Administration. This role serves as a brand ambassador and often the first point of contact for candidates and employees, helping to create a welcoming, engaging, and people-first experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate embodies the company’s culture and values, communicates them authentically, and brings curiosity, organization, and a passion for Human Resources. This position is perfect for someone eager to explore multiple areas within the HR field while making a meaningful impact on employee experience and workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Coordinate and schedule interviews onsite and virtually via Zoom
- Greet and escort candidates during onsite interviews to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Manage and maintain job postings in UKG and on the company Careers page
- Conduct exploratory interviews and candidate screenings
- Manage entry-level job searches from sourcing through offer stage
- Manage the interview process and hiring for temporary positions and entry-level roles
- Generate offer letters and send New Hire Welcome communications
- Coordinate pre-employment processes including reference checks and background checks
- Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process
- Support employer branding initiatives and help communicate company culture and philosophy to candidates
Employee Experience & Wellness
- Support employee wellness initiatives, engagement programs, and benefits communication
- Assist with benefits administration and employee questions related to wellness offerings
- Research and help coordinate employee events, wellness activities, and culture-building initiatives
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment through thoughtful employee interactions
- Assist with onboarding activities to ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported
HR Operations and New Hire Onboarding
- Support new hire onboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Prepare onboarding materials, orientation schedules, and new hire documentation
- Facilitate communication between new hires, hiring managers, and internal departments prior to start date
- Maintain accurate employee and recruiting records within HR systems
- Assist with HR administrative processes and reporting as needed
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all employee and candidate interactions
- Support various HR projects and initiatives across the People team
What you bring:
- Passion for Human Resources and employee experience
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable interacting with candidates, employees, and leadership professionally and warmly
- Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom
- Previous recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative experience preferred
- You are naturally people-oriented and enjoy creating positive experiences
- You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn different aspects of HR
