Job Summary
Vineyard Memory Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Life Enrichment Director to develop and oversee engaging programs for our residents. As a key team member, you will work closely with seniors, including those with forms of dementia and disabilities, to enhance their quality of life through meaningful activities. This role is to create a vibrant, supportive environment within our 29-apartment Memory Care community, located adjacent to our Assisted Living facility that has 68 apartments. The ideal person will have a passion for working with seniors and possess experience in long-term care and dementia care.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive Life Enrichment program tailored to the needs and interests of residents with memory impairments and disabilities.
- Collaborate with Resident Care Team to integrate therapeutic activities that support residents’ cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote socialization, independence, and overall happiness.
- Monitor resident participation, adjusting programs as needed to meet individual preferences and needs.
- Maintain documentation related to activity participation and resident progress.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and best practices in dementia care.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages residents’ independence while providing appropriate support.

- Proven experience working with seniors in long-term care settings, particularly with dementia care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and staff.
- Creativity in designing engaging activities suited for memory care residents.
- Knowledge of best practices in dementia care and activity programming.
