Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories, movement patterns, and functional limitations.
- Diagnose musculoskeletal and movement-related issues, crafting personalized, multi-modal treatment plans.
- Employ manual therapies, exercises, movement retraining, and complementary approaches (e.g., acupuncture, massage) to address pain, restore function, and prevent injury.
- Track patient progress meticulously and adjust plans as recovery progresses.
- Educate and empower patients (and their families) throughout the recovery journey.
- Collaborate closely with VCM’s interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure in Massachusetts.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Orthopedic experience or interest required.
