What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mother's Day Out Teacher/Childcare Provider position at Vineyard Church of Conroe?
We are looking for dependable Child Care Teachers to teach and supervise children in a loving, Christian environment.
This job is every Tuesday and Thursday 8:30a-2:30p, and every Sunday from 10:00am-12:15pm. The opportunity for more hours varies according to events at our church.
Responsibilities
- Follow a full schedule of activities
- Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities
- Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of kindness
- Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action
- Collaborate with other colleagues
- Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations
Skills
- Experience as a child care / daycare teacher
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am-2:30pm
- Sundays 10:00am-12:15pm
- Some weekend and evening shifts available.
