Role Description: Independent Sales Representative
Vinco Performance is assembling an energetic Independent Rep Team to drive our innovative, sustainable performance eyewear brand into brick-and-mortar retail across the US.
We are seeking passionate, results-driven independent sales representatives with well-established connections in premium athleisure and multi-sport (cycling, running, triathlon) retail sectors.
The representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retail and wholesale clients, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, providing product education to clients, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management and follow-up. This role will require regular interaction with clients, conducting sales presentations, and representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
The Opportunity:
As an Independent Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with key retailers, presenting the Vinco Performance product line, and securing dealer orders within your designated territory. We are looking for representatives to expand our reach in untapped territories across the US. States. Open territories include: CT,ME,MA,NH,NY,RI,TX,VT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect and secure new dealer accounts in the Run, Bike, Multi-Sport, and Athleisure retail channels.
- Communicate the Vinco Performance brand story, product features, and sustainability advantages to retail buyers and owners.
- Manage and grow existing dealer relationships, ensuring product knowledge and successful sell-through.
- Attend relevant industry trade shows, events, and clinics as needed.
- Provide timely reports on sales activities, market feedback, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as an independent sales representative, preferably in the Run, Bike, or Outdoor/Athleisure apparel/accessories industries.
- Established network of contacts with relevant brick-and-mortar retailers in your desired territory.
- Deep understanding of performance eyewear, sports technology, and the independent retail landscape.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and driven to meet sales objectives.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based independent contractor position with high earning potential based on performance.
