Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and related menu items with precision and creativity, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours
- Train and develop team members in food preparation, safety protocols, customer service, and POS system usage such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to health regulations and implementing proper food handling procedures
- Lead staff training initiatives to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, hospitality excellence, and continuous improvement
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment, preferably with pizza or casual dining expertise
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in a restaurant setting, including staff training and shift management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Strong background in inventory control, food safety practices, and kitchen management
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry that showcase excellent communication skills and hospitality management capabilities
- Knowledge of budgeting, food production processes, catering operations, and hospitality standards is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in hotel or banquet settings is a plus for versatile culinary skills
