What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and precision
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that suit their tastes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, handling cash and credit card payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, enhancing the overall dining experience
- Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage stock efficiently to minimize waste
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by building rapport with guests and providing attentive service throughout their visit
Experience
- Proven experience in a bartending role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage trends, and wine pairings
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality standards
- Proficient in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Basic math skills for accurately managing transactions and inventory calculations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest interactions
