Responsibilities
- Surface preparation: Sanding, cleaning, and filling surfaces to prepare them for painting.
- Applying paint: Using sprayer or brushes to apply paint, primer, and finish coats.
- Protecting parts: Masking off parts that shouldn't be painted
- Mixing Paint: Mixing paint and coating liquids to achieve the desired color
- Quality control: Inspecting painted surfaces for defects and noting any runs, sags, or unpainted areas.
- Safety: Wearing safety equipment and following safety and health regulations
- Equipment maintencance: Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
- Communication: Communicating with customer and other employees
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in auto painting and buffing considered an asset.
- Experience is a must
